THE BACHELOR VI 11/11/04

Q. You were right; it was Cynthia going home this week.

A. I never saw anything more than physical attraction on Byron's part. I do not know what she is like, but I will venture to say Cynthia probably resembles his ex-wife in more ways than one. They would have had a fiery but brief relationship if both would have met outside the show.

Q. You've been a little superficial lately, when talking about Byron. Give me your impression of him.

A. I do not personally know Byron, or anyone in these shows; therefore I can only offer a speculative answer. Having said that, I believe Byron is taking the process as serious as anyone is able to, considering this is a reality TV show. There is a side of him that is insecure, constantly seeking personal assurances and signs of acceptance from the other person, perhaps as a subconscious way of feeling desired and loved. Byron originally gives the impression of being strong-willed and in control when, in fact, I believe he is weak and vulnerable to strong willed women. Byron also feels attracted to adventurous, and what he considers "hot & exciting" women; this is the key to understanding which one of the two remaining women is going to go all the way.

Q. Talk to me about Tanya.

A. I believe Tanya is a very nice and friendly individual, with both feet on the ground. She is also intelligent and compassionate, with a high sense of family values.
Tanya knows what she wants out of life, and is patient enough to wait until the opportunity arrives. I think she would have felt much more attracted to someone like Jay; therefore, I do not honestly believe Tanya is too romantically involved with our boy. I also doubt she would leave her teaching career, at this moment in her life, in order to follow Byron around the country.

Q. Now, don't give me a superficial answer and tell me what you really think about Mary.

A. I have nothing negative to say about Mary, as a matter of fact I like her; but I feel she may be a little wilder than most people believe. One side of Mary appears to be romantic, passionate, hot-blooded and extremely possessive. The other side of her is mature, self-assured, and strong-willed.
I believe Mary's short-lived relationships outweigh her long-term ones, being easily impressed at times, having a habit of falling in love easily. She is also very affectionate and family oriented, and will make a good wife and mother someday. The obstacles Mary needs to overcome are that she could be seen by some as being too possessive and intense. These two qualities can be flattering during the initial stages of a relationship, but suffocating after the "novelty" has worn off.
I still feel Mary has impressed our boy, and will receive a full fledge proposal in the end.

Q. Do you have anything to say about next week's "Tell All Special"?

A. Only that I am certain Krysta, Jayne, or Heather will make it interesting.
