Q. Bob’s finally here! What did you think of last night’s episode?
A. I definitely enjoyed the premier episode, and believe we are going to have an exciting series.
Q. Let us begin with Bob. Give me your first impressions of him.
A. Bob looked great! I am certain he worked fairly hard to look as slim as he did, since I believe he has a tendency to gain weight easily. He was his humorous self, without going overboard. The women looked really excited to be with him, and our Bob definitely enjoys the company of women.
Q. What did you think of Bob’s mother joining him on this first episode?
A. I feel Bob’s mother has a strong personality, much like Bob’s, and is very influential in some of his decisions. It is also my opinion Bob will listen to her when it is time to make his final choice, even if he will do whatever he feels is right for himself.
Q. Talk to me about his choices in the rose ceremony.
A. I always say the first night is just one large party, and the main character makes his final selections based mostly on physical attraction and memories from a few brief conversations. I believe Bob chose some good candidates, and also some problematic ones, but we can’t blame him since it is a difficult night for everyone involved.
Q. All right A.T., give us a glimpse of the ones who stayed.
A. I can see some that will go far, in my opinion, like Lindsay D., Meredith, Estella, Kelly, and perhaps Brooke. Others like Antoinette, Mary, Lanah, Karin, Kristi, Lee Ann, Jenny and Misty have a large possibility of being dropped in the next few weeks. I am not very sure yet about Jen from California nor Lindsay K. I will wait to see them interacting with Bob before I have a better idea of where they stand. Of course, it is too soon to give accurate predictions about anyone in particular, and my first impressions could very well change after I see Bob interacting with all the women on the dates. We must remember first impressions are not always accurate.
Q. Give us an idea of who what to watch for when we try to predict who will be the last one standing.
A. We would be lying to ourselves if we did not accept the fact Bob will most likely not go back to his normal life, and his mortgage company, after this show is over. He has much support in the entertainment business, and will probably try out his luck in that area. Personally, I think he has a good chance of making it. This does not mean he can not develop feelings for one of the women in this group, but we must try to determine which one would also complement him in his future endeavors. I honestly can not picture Bob going back to living a conventional life, with his new fiancée, at this time in his life.
Q. Look like we are going to have competitiveness, among the women, in the next weeks.
A. I believe there will be some melodrama in the next weeks to come. I don’t know what the scene with the rescue truck was in reference to, we will just have to wait and see, but I do believe Maria and Lee Ann will keep us entertained with their melodramatics. On a humorous note, I somehow believe Lee Ann did a wonderful job convincing Bob and his mother to receive a rose. I might be wrong, but feel her “I’m not very aggressive” approach, and comments to the camera, are not indicative of her real personality. It is my opinion she is a little more outspoken than how she was portrayed on this first night. I look forward to watching next week’s episode!
