THE BACHELOR VII 05/10/05
By Wendy Thompson

Q. What stands out in your mind about tonight's episode?
A. To me Kara and her beautiful daughter took first place. Both mom and daughter deserve to find someone who will enhance their lives with love and tenderness. What a cute kid!

Q. I shouldn't say this but I know the reason you liked Kara's daughter so much was because she reminds you of your new wife's daughter, whom you adopted after your recent marriage. I would say both could be twins.
A. You're right, of course. It is common knowledge our beautiful daughter does with me whatever she wants, she is absolutely great and I love her to death!

Q. What did you think about Kim's performance?
A. If we discount the scenes with Kim showing her cleavage, there is nothing else to discuss about her without falling asleep. I believe she was chosen by the producers to spruce up the series, since I cannot envision Charlie falling in love with what I shall call "a low budget movie actress". The women were right: the only thing that comes to mind, when Kim's name is mentioned, is her over rated cleavage.

Q. What do you think makes Sarah W. tick?
A. Our bellicose Sarah has an interesting side. Sometimes under all the self-promotion, and apparent superiority complex, is an insecure and traumatized individual trying unsuccessfully to build up his or her self-esteem. I am curious to know more about Sarah's childhood, and if she has a history of dating married men, or individuals with a romantic relationship in progress. This could clarify a lot of issues, but I don't wish to go any deeper with this line of thought, since we are only discussing a reality TV show.

Q. What do you think about Sarah W.'s comment that Krisily is better suited for Charlie than Sarah B.?
A. I agree, in principle. Personally, I feel neither one is suited for him, but it appears Krisily would have a more flexible view of Charlie's lifestyle, on a long-term basis, and would embrace it more open-heartedly than Sarah B. would.

Q. Does this mean he will end up choosing Krisily in the end?
A. I would be surprised if he did, for several reasons. I am leaning more toward Sarah B., even if I don't see any romantic feelings developing between her and our boy. As I mentioned before, this series is difficult to predict, since I strongly believe Charlie is not falling in love with either woman. A couple of years from now all these people will be history, and nothing will be left of this particular Bachelor show worth remembering.

Q. Bachelorettes in general?
A. Minus a few exceptions, it appears these bachelorettes were specifically chosen for Charlie. What a group! I couldn't see, for example, these girls making it into Aaron's show, nor could I envision Aaron's group of bachelorettes getting all hot and streamed up for someone like Charlie. I can imagine Helene or Brooke sending this second-class actor back to Hollywood with a "REJECTED" sign around his neck.

Q. What do you expect next week?
A. Not much! Two excruciating long hours of stretched scenes culminating in a couple of Charlie's one-liners.
