THE BACHELOR VII 05/03/05
By Wendy Thompson

Q. Goodbye Miss Perfect! I loved it!
A. All-right Wendy, take hold of yourself. I do not know why it is so difficult for individuals to accept rejection with some class, instead of voicing the almighty " This sucks". I believe the trend began with Kelly Joe in Bachelor IV. Anyway, I’ll end it by saying either Sarah has been laying it thick due to a little push from the producers or she really needs to schedule a visit to her neighborhood therapist.

Q. Charlie's brother recently stated Charlie is actually in love with one of the two finalists. What do you think?
A. There are different versions of what "being in love" is, but I cannot place our boy in any one of them. I would personally categorize that particular statement as "professional back scratching" between one actor to a bunch of Producers. Charlie is not in love with either one and it is evident in the way he interacts with them. He may like one more than the other, but nothing more.

Q. Talk to me about both finalists and that personal theory you've been tossing around for a couple of weeks now.
A. Before I do I would like to say it has been difficult for me to determine who the finalist is going to be because Charlie does not have any deep feelings for either woman. Who he chooses is going to be based on personal issues not related to love, and that is very difficult to determine by watching a TV show. For example, Aaron, Andrew, Byron, and Meredith's final choices were easy to guess, because you could see in their faces a certain excitement whenever they were in the company of their chosen one. Charlie looks like he is just having a good time with a female friend and, in some instances, gives the impression he could fall asleep if they give him the opportunity to get "comfy".

Q. Go on……...
A. I am just guessing here folks but I do not believe Charlie is emotionally attached to Sarah B. or she to our boy. Nevertheless, I believe it may be her, in the end, only because he looks less bored in her presence than in Krisily's.
I agree Sarah is somewhat cute and a hard worker, but she and Charlie seem to run out of things to say, once in a while, and have to end up having simple-minded conversations; something Charlie is very good at.
Sarah appears to be the type of individual who is neat, organized and has a head on her shoulders. Charlie is a cuddly 6’4” part-time actor, disorganized, messy and irresponsible, who’s idea of planning for the future is auditioning for his next cameo role or sitting back waiting for someone to call him with “a gig”.

Q. So, Krisily is out?
A. She has much more baggage going against her, in my opinion, beginning with her family. I know Charlie had some fun with Nana and Company, but it was a fun experience as long as it was only for one day.
Krisily is one of those women who has difficulty keeping a man's attention span active for any significant period of time, even if we are talking about simple minded and fun-loving Charlie. I also do not believe Charlie finds her physically attractive either; therefore I would be really surprised if he chooses her in the end.

Q. All right, say whatever else is on your mind.
A. I am just doing a "hail Mary" but believe the so-called "relationship" between Charlie and whomever he chooses will not be long-lived and end up being another ABC flop. He is not the right person for Sarah, nor is Krisily the right woman for Charlie. Everything else is pure “reality-based TV”, as they say.
The best thing that could happen is for the three of them to consider these past weeks as an all expense paid vacation and walk away unscathed.
