UPDATES

10/16/03: More "false labor".  Anyone surprised?  Holy crap, I think this is the world's longest labor.  I better get a medal or something.  The back pain is comparable to being sledge hammered repeatedly.  Still better, however, than endometriosis or (GOD FORBID) that pea-sized kidney boulder...errgh...stone.

I am currently using visualization to will my water to break like Niagara Falls.

Anyhow, the site has been completely revamped.  I've redone all of the picture pages for faster loading (what else am I going to do when labor won't start?) and password protected this place again after realizing that the internet is just brimming with a**holes.

To those of you who remain, enjoy.

10/14/03: More "false labor", but I made it to 3cm, 75% and the doctor did offer to break my water (but I opted to let nature have another week or another centimeter or two).  Every indication says that baby is coming any minute now.  Doctor and his nurses all said that they believe the baby will be born before my next appointment, which is Monday, October 20.  I just keep praying to God that she comes NOW.  I am aching to meet this tiny person face to face, to see her little newborn feet and wrinkled little face and to hear her precious baby cries for the first time.  I don't think I've ever anticipated anything so much...except maybe Christmas when I was four or five.  Nah...even that wasn't as exciting as this.

10/09/03: Now...this is different...

9/29/03: After my practice birth of a 3mm kidney stone, I'm feeling much more confident about the actual birth of the baby.  And also the wonders of Demerol.  Heh.  Anyway, please have a look at my updates...as I pray she comes very soon and the next updates will be baby pictures!  I doubt that, but let a woman have hope...I feel like my belly skin is a thin layer of tight Saran Wrap over tiny moving babyparts.

9/22/03: Oh.  My.  God.  I feel like I am going to pop.  The baby dropped and the forward pressure is immense.
The cool part is I keep seeing little baby fists along my left side, heh, and little baby feet on my upper right.  Whatta cool kid!

Can you see that baby dropped (down and forward)?  Or am I nuts?

9/06/03: Okay, simply put: if it is part of this site, it has been updated.  Lots of new pictures and both belly tracker and belly gallery are now current.  Photos of the finished nursery are now available, as well as a couple from the baby shower.  Enjoy!!!

8/10/03: Despite my delays, belly pictures for weeks 28 and 29 are now up as they should be.
I've been keeping busy preparing for Rachel's arrival.  Mixed feelings of excitement, joy, fear and apprehension are overwhelming.

8/6/03: THIRD TRIMESTER HAS ARRIVED!!!

7/30/03: Updates.  Babystuff, bellytracker, belly gallery and a few other miscellaneous things around the site.  Enjoy!  This is the last week of the second trimester!

7/21/03: The updates are here :o)  My weekly belly photo of growing Rachel and some pics of my new "flippy flippy" haircut, as my stylist calls it.

7/16/03: I did it again, lost an entire page of pictures (page 17) when editing to inculde new page 18.  Pictures on page 17 are all new now.  Yeah, I could fix the problem, but I don't feel like it.

7/3/03: NEW SONO PICS! It's DEFINITELY a GIRL!!! Come see the baby's first photographed yawn!!!

7/1/03: Updates are scant, but here.  The belly must are a must and have been posted.  I've been fairly busy attending to friends and family over the past few days and also need to finish my psychology course in time for my final exam.  But fear not, baby and I will be back (and much less stressed) very soon.

6/28/03: Updated pregnancy pics (page 17 added with belly and kitty) and NEW BABY ROOM PHOTOS!

6/23/03:  New belly pictures, page sixteen of preg pics (photos of Fifth Disease rash eruption...and some kitties) and a really cute fetal development photo of a 22 week old fetus.

And uhm...has anyone seen my feet?

6/9/03: The usual weekly updates have taken place.  Preg pics 11 is new, though it should be 12.  I lost all of the original page 11 due to a technical error (i.e. stupid moment).

A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who responded to my incessant whining about having to be on Macrobid.  The encouragement and words of wisdom really helped.  I'm feeling better and apparently (by kick counts) the baby is too.
Today's Semi-Useless Factoids: I'm considering petitioning my husband for a Papa John's Pizza chain to be put in our house.  
My belly button is now an "outie", which is weirder than I can describe adequately.

6/3/03: Updated belly picture and a new linear belly tracker gallery so they can be viewed in sequence with no text (a nice comparison thingy).  Also, new fetal development pictures (absolutely amazing) have been added to that section.  Is anyone watching it?  ;o)
Today's Semi-Useless Factoid: I'm losing my belly button.

5/31/03: Pregnant Pics page 11 was added yesterday, the main entry page has been redesigned, and if anyone cares, I'm craving steak again.

4/24/03: The wait is over, the sono pics are here!!!  And I the happiest mother in the world right now...
All the fingers, all the toes and an absolutely adorable nose!

4/24/03: Oh, I updated a whole bunch of crap, lol, see for yourself!  I added some Baby Stuff photos of the new outfit and diaper bag and toy.  I've been feeling a little silly all day, so I painted a face on my belly (see below).  
And the sono pictures are coming tomorrow!  

4/22/03: Everything has been updated, including the pictures.  I tried to make navigation a bit easier by adding more direct links in the frames so you don't have to bounce through five old pages of old pictures to get to the new ones.  Fetal development is getting pretty interesting now and offers us a cute couple of sono pictures (not mine) of babyfeet and thumb-sucking baby.  Heh, I giggle every time I see them :o)  My baby will be having a sonogram on Friday, April 25.  (Yes, I'm counting days!)

4/15/03: Everything has been updated; belly pics, preggo pics, fetal development.  And I have added a babyname page.  Keep a lookout for the Easter Egg Belly Photos!  (Yup, we're decorating my belly for Easter.)

4/8/03: There is now a discussion forum. New belly photo.  New fetal development facts and 3D ultrasound pics of 11 week fetuses (not mine).  New baby name poll.  Vote on my lame suggestions or suggest your own!  (Please!?)  Oh, yeah, and some new general pregnancy pictures in that new photo section I added.  Mostly of me experimenting with the digital camera.  Heh. 

4/3/03: Beware of hormone induced profanity.  Also added a miscellaneous pregnancy pictures section so y'all can see more than just my belly all the time.  Providing you want to.

4/1/03: All belly photos to current are finally up.  There should not be any more of these delays in the future.  Right now, I'm going clothes shopping.  I'm sure you understand :o)

3/26/03: Belly photos for 8 and 9 are coming soon. And...
BABY'S HEARTBEAT CAN BE HEARD through my tummy now!  I'm going to see if I can get a recording of that to put on the site.

3/19/03: New fetal development photo and information.  Still haven't gotten the digital camera to cooperate, so belly photos for weeks 8 and 9 will probably coincide in their appearance.
I'm going to eat brownie batter now. 

3/17/03: So I disappeared for an entire week.  Yep.  That's just the way it goes sometimes.  Updates are here, including the new belly and sono pics.

3/10/03: On Wednesday, there will be a new belly photo, new fetal development facts and photo for 7 weeks...AND A SONOGRAM PIC!  Stay tuned...

3/5/03: It is now week 6!  This means a new belly photo today!  I've also added new photos of the nursery, some baby stuff pictures (more firetruck stuff) and some fetal development facts.  I'm going to update the poll, as well.  And I am getting pretty excited about that sonogram next week!  ::counting days::
