BabyGirl's Page

I am a 25 years old woman; I will be 26 in November. I was born with cerebral palsy, but I am a normal person but sometimes people treat me like I'm a monster or something. God makes people different and just because you are different doesn't mean people should be scared of you or scared to get to know you better. You should really get to know people with disabilities because you might learn a thing or two from them and vice versa. Speaking from experience, it hurts inside when you meet a person and ya'll hit it off well but as soon as they find out you have a disability it's seem they change and everything they said because a lie. You do have a right to be scared because you have met a person with disability but that do not mean to change your whole attitude especailly if you haven't gotten to know them well. But if you have, it hurts them because they feel like they did something. Just keep in mind that we could be a part of your family whether we are a brother, sister, cousin, aunt, uncle, grandparents or mom & dad. Would you want a person in socirty to treat your family monster like they are different or some kind of monster. Think about it My hobbies are watching television/movies, hanging out with friends, chatting on the computer, listening to music and writing poetry. I sing on the choir at my church and I am also a memeber of the Pastor's Aid committee.
