Not as it Seems

She’s feeling tired of being the one.
Who hasn’t a person to kindle and love
Hope in her heart is nearly done.
Her feelings are fleeing, sent to above.

But look across the room and see.
Two eyes staring back at her.
And she has no clue as to what maybe.
His eyes she doesn’t encounter.

She talks so dismal, depression is shown.
Praying for love, while crying alone.
But the fire of those eyes for her have grown.
And yet these eyes, to her, not known.

For I see the boy across the room.
Looking at her with full feeling.
And while she thinks of love as doom.
She has no clue the heart she’s stealing.
