Oatmeal Nut Drops

3 Points Per Serving

 

2 tablespoons Peter Pan reduced-fat peanut butter

1/4 cup Cary's Sugar Free maple syrup

1/4 cup Sugar Twin or Sprinkle Sweet

2/3 cup Carnation nonfatdry milk powder

1 cup (3 ounces)quick oats

1/4 cup (1 oz) chopped dry-roasted peanuts

 

"Do you usually participate in a holiday cookie exchange--where you trade cookies with other holiday bakers--but figured you wouldn't be able to this year? These nutty treats don't taste like "diet food" so you can feel comfortable, even proud, to share them with friends and family. You're passing along the gift of good health."

1. In a medium bowl, combine peanut butter, maple syrup, Sugar Twin, and dry milk powder. Stir in oats and peanuts. Place waxed paper on a cookie sheet. Drop mixture by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet to form 24 drops. Cover and refrigerater for at least 30 minutes.

Serves 6 (4 each). Freezes well.
