Blueberry Bran Bread (Bread Machine)

Recipe By : The Bread Machine Cookbook by Melissa Clark May 1993 p85

2-3* Points Per Serving

 

1 1/2 LB LOAF--

1 cup lowfat buttermilk

3 tablespoons butter

3 tablespoons honey

1 cup blueberries

2 teaspoons salt

2/3 cup bran

2/3 cup whole wheat flour

2 2/3 cups bread flour

2 1/2 teaspoons yeast

 

Bake according to manufacturer's instructions.

Makes 12 thick slices.

NOTES: Frozen blueberries work well in this recipe, and are available all year round. Just thaw and drain them before measuring.
