Easy Focaccia

Note: Gently press your finger into dough at 2-inch intervals to create dimples before brushing with olive oil.

 

2 (1-pound) loaves frozen white bread dough, thawed

Cooking spray

2 Tbs. olive oil

1 small onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp. dried rosemary

1/2 tsp. garlic powder

 

1. Preheat oven to 375º. 2. Place loaves of dough on each of 2 baking sheets coated with cooking spray; press each portion of dough into a 12- x 8-inch rectangle. Brush oil evenly over dough. Top with onion rings, and sprinkly evenly with cheese, rosemary, and garlic powder. Bake at 375º for 25 minutes of until lightly browned. Serve warm or let cool completely on wire racks.

Yield: 2 loaves, 12 servings per loaf (serving size: 1 slice)
