Played Scrabble with James, Eric & Nell, Rita. Rode our bikes from Beach Dr. to the Kennedy Center. Nell accepted Eric's proposal. Met Matt, boys & Kim in VA, out to dinner and played with airplanes. To Rehobath Beach. The furby incident. Hiked Sugarloaf Mountain. To Stacie's open house.

Interviewed at WashingtonPost.com. Nell & Eric's engagement party. Hiking with Nicholas & James at Lake Frank. Started working at Steptoe & Johnson. James powerwashed front of house. Mountain biking at Schaeffer Farms.

Visited farm with Matt. Crazy church service in Bluewell. Walk in the woods with boys and Mom. Saw Beastie Boys in concert with James, Nell & Eric. Hiked and biked Black Hill park. Visited National Museum of the American Indian. Moved the ficus. Interviewed with CBS and Washington Times. Nell started working at Steptoe. Repeated Suntrust fraud attempts via e-mail. Belgian waffle brunch with everyone. Offered job at Times after audition. To Dave & Teresa's wedding in Bridgeport. Thought I had food poisoning - turned out to be appendicitis. Emergency surgery and hospital stay followed. Accepted Times job. Nell & Eric moved to Pensacola. Mom & Aunt Paula came to visit. Recovery at Katy's house.

Recovering, slowly. Geoffrey's birthday party. Visited National Arboretum and Cake Love (cupcake bakery as seen on Sunday Morning).
