Take My Hand

"Take my hand "said the man
"and come with me
and I'll show you all you need to see."
He showed me the forests and the birds that sing,
then he showed me the mountains, valleys and streams.
He showed me the fishes and the deep blue sea
and said "I'm a part of all that you see."
He showed me the stars, the sun and the moon
then he showed me a dark and empty room.
He showed me a man that lay in the street and
I saw an angel standing at his feet.
He showed me the clouds that blocked out the sun
and said "Without them we'd never have any fun."
He showed me  the rainbow and setting sun
and said  " We are all connected to one."
And in times of loneliness and despair he is
the one that's always there willing to take my hand.
