Welcome Girl Scouts, Girl Scout Families, and Girl Scout Friends! Please be patient this Web Site is always under construction! Look us up to find out about our activities, events, and etc. This page will contain information from our Daisy Troop, our two Brownie Troops, & our two Junior Troops. On the last week of each month we will update the information on our site.
Daisy Troop 80 made Pigs in a Blanket and S'Mores at their last meeting. They all said "Yummy in my Tummy!"
Brownie Troop 238 is working hard on badges and fundraisers.
Brownie Troop 274 attended the Kansas City Zoo Imax Theatre during their last meeting. They all had fun and are working hard on Tyr-Its!
Junior Troop 568 is working on their Pet Care Badge and as part of this badge they are going to the Concordia Veterinary Clinic February 22nd to tour their facilities. The girls are to take care of their pet for two months and record what they do and the cost. They will learn about diseases, care, and how to chose a pet. We will be going to the Sweet Springs Library to do research on our badge activities. The girls are excited that they have so much independence on working on their badges.
Junior Troop 596 is working hard on their badge work.
Sweet Springs Girl Scouts sold Girl Scout Cookies January 7 through January 19 and delivery dates are February 15 until February 29 this year. During that time if you need extra boxes or didn't get to order contact any of your local Girl Scout Troops and they will let you know how you can buy some delicious Girl Scout Cookies! Cookies cost $3.00 a box and we have 8 flavors to chose from this year. Those delicious flavors are Lemon Drop, Striped Chocolate Chip, Thin Mints, Samoas, Trefoils, Tagalongs, Do-si-dos, and Reduced Fat Apple Cinnamon. YUM....YUM Don't forget to buy some from your local Girl Scouts. We love Girl Scouts all year round - just ask a Sweet Springs Girl Scout!
Leaders Reminders: February 17, at 4 p.m. we will have our Girl Scout Leaders meeting at Sweet Water. We will let you know when cookie money is to be turned in to Vanna.
