Award of 2002
Jennifer Day of Newburgh, Indiana, a student at University of Southern Indiana at Evansville, Indiana, was awarded our 1st Scholarship at the Annual National Gathering of Self Family Researchers in Gadsden, Alabama, in April 2002. Jennifer is the great great grand-daughter of John Bell Self, 1880-1939.
Award of 2003
Meredith Bailey of Apex, North Carolina, a student at North Carolina State University at Raleigh, NC., was awarded our second Scholarship at the Annual National Gathering of Self Family Researchers in Shelby, NC., on April 26, 2003. Meredith is the great great great grand-daughter of William Self, 1809-1878 of Cleveland County, NC.
Award of 2004 (future)
