Letter from Jason Park:
Here are some pics of my first "big" Spacewarp set. It consists of a set 10 and a set 40, linked together so that there are actually 8 different and unique paths. Also, it is wired such that if only one marble was running, all 8 paths would eventually be traveled.
Some of the cooler elements include...
Quad-loop (part of the "stock" set 40, but still cool)
Funnel
Dive Loop
90 degree banked tight triple helix.
I am currently adding to this setup the 2 more set 40's that I just picked up. It will include a double-high lift, and 5 additional paths each with something cool in them. I will send pics when I am done.
Also, the motors are larger and more powerful, using 2 C batteries rather than a single D. Also there are better (real) on/off switches.
Enjoy!! -Soggyjay
A good look at the whole thing.
The Set 10 side, it looks pretty much "stock," with a few modifications.
Middle section, lots of twists & turns here.
The Left section with funnel, Quad loop, and triple banked helix.
A good look at the Dive Loop.
Overhead view, looking straight down the triple helix.
I liked the "4 parallel tracks" on the stock set 40, so I made it part of the design.
