Where I've Been

I was born, and currently live, in Eureka, California. When I was one year old, my family moved to Kansas City, Missouri. After three years of tough times there, we moved back to Eureka. I grew up there and when I was eighteen years old I decided to leave home. I tried living in Medford, Oregon for a short time, but ended up calling Seattle, Washington home (see Religion). I met and married Abraham Dejesus Santana there and after Sophia was born in 1998, we moved to Eureka.

Before I got married I determined to travel a bit before I settled down. So, in 1992 I went to an Apostolic Faith Church convention, "Florida Campmeeting", in Century, Florida, near Pensacola. I enjoyed the Campmeeting immensely, but sunbathing at Pensacola beach was something I look back on with special fondness.

In 1993 and after I married my sweetheart, in 1995, I went to the Apostolic Faith Church Youth Conference in Brooklyn, New York. On my 1995 trip, I traveled with Abe and we celebrated our 1st anniversary together there.

On our way to New York in 1995, Abe & I stopped over to visit his stomping grounds in Chicago, Illinois.

Closer to home, some of my favorite places to visit have been San Francisco, Los Angeles, Half Moon Bay, Trinidad Beach, Patrick's Point State Park, Ferndale (home of the films "Salem's Lot" and "Outbreak") and Canada's fine Vancouver, British Columbia. Living in Seattle I visited several of its fine tourist spots, including working and living in Ballard, working in Pioneer Square and also the famous University District. I enjoyed exercise at Green Lake. It's always fun to take a ferry ride to Bainbridge Island or the other neighboring Islands. Seattle deserves a web site all its own, so I'll limit my exaltations of it to the above.
