Turn the lights out and let me
look at you in the darkness,
with skin so smooth and bright
that the mood reflects your light
upon my hands,
casting faint shadows on the floor.
Turn your head and let me
look at you in the darkness,
with your smile, so slight, that shines
and makes your shadow merge with mine
as you reach your arms above your head
and stretch against the door.
Turn to face me and let me
look at you in the darkness,
with your supple lips, slightly parted.
With your next breath, I've already started
feeling that dull ache in my chest
as I've never felt before.
Turn your gaze to me and let me
look at you in the darkness,
with eyes so clear and white
against your ebony skin, the thick night
silence making every stray sound
seem so obscure.
Let me look, more, more. . .
And let your light into me pour.
