Hey, hey, hey kids! Sorry I've deprived you of my brilliance for so long, but I haven't really been in the mood for journal writing, I guess.
Let me sum up the past few weeks for you. I had a wonderful Christmas (and p.s. There's nothing more disappointing than 78 degree weather on Christmas day). Got to spend time with my mom and my best friend. Then my mom and I drove up to S. Carolina to visit my grandparents(pseudo-grandparents, actually) for New Years. I've talked about going there before. It's a beautiful house on a lake, where all you do is sit around, read, eat, and have wonderful conversation. Then my mom dropped me off here at school on her way back down to South Florida. So, here I was in North Florida . . . expecting downright chili weather, and what do I get?? A week and a half of t-shirt-and-leather-jacket weather. What is this?!?! I'm absolutely outraged! The only thing I can say I would like to have had is a pair of gloves; my hands get cold when I ride my bike. But aside from that, the weather was WIMPY! Ya hear that, Florida?
