I've finally made my decision regarding where I'm going to attend college. As you might already know, I've had my heart set on the University of Chicago forever now. But. . . I've come to the very fiscaly responsible conclusion that I would be an idiot to pay $37,000 a year to go to UC-- and for my bachelor's degree, no less. Why go there, when I can go to a state school for free?
Sooo . . . I've decided that I will go to UF, and practically get paid to go there. I'm sure I will be able to endure that horrid little city, but only if I can spend a year abroad. I will graduate with no debt, footloose, and fancy free(let's hope). Then I can spend my designated "college" money on my masters degree. Sounds like a good plan, doesn't it? I thought so.
