hmm . . . well . . . tomorrow i leave for new york. yay!!! i'm gonna go visit princeton, brown, tufts, and yale with my mom, which should be interesting. and we're gonna spend some time in NJ with some friends of ours. then i'm gonna stay in NYC for a couple weeks with my aunt. well, she's not my real aunt---just one of those real close friends of the family that i've known since i was zero.
whenever i say that ("when i was zero") people always laugh like i'm joking or something. everyone thinks that by zero i mean before i was born. but i don't. i mean, you don't turn one until 12 months after you're born. so i'd think that, technically, before 12 months, you're zero. well . . . maybe at 6 months you start rounding up. but definately before six months, age should be rounded down to zero. yepyep. indeed. but nooooo, no one ever listens to MY theories. "let's just ignore all of erin's brilliant suggestions and inspirational ideas." oh, the anguish!
