well, seeing that i haven't written an entry in over a month, i figured i'd write a whole bunch at once to make up for it. i've just been so uninspired lately. but anyhow, enough delaying the inevitable.
carnies--circus folk--scary people. i know. . . it's a stereotype, but some of them really are a bit umm. . . interesting looking. of course, plenty of 'em are perfectly honorable people. we "interviewed" some of them last year at the youth fair, though it was probably more of an annoyance to them. but, who knows, maybe it made someone's day.
there was this one carnie, (a head carnie), who made like twenty-something bucks an hour! that's damn good money for that kinda work, if you ask me--or even if you don't. but the average carnie made about seven or eight beans an hour. hmm. . . i just don't think i could ever live a life like that. . . always on the road. i think i'd like a little more consistency in my life.
so let's see how many words i can think of that mean money. we got. . . bucks, beans, cash, flo, green, moollah, greenbacks, loot(that one's iffy). if anyone can think of more, email me at: rinky51@hotmail.com
