~ The Forgotten ? ~

I love you, O Lord my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold, I call to the Lord who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies. Psalm 18:1-3

A room full of people and lonely I am, wishing and praying for someone to understand. Explanations I have given, excuses I won't; please someone listen ~ just listen with your heart.

Do you feel as if the whole world is aganst you? Do you feel overwhelmed even in the same room with family and friends who love you dearly but just don't understand? Or (may God send his extra protection) to those that have no family at all for loneliness surfaces thus the bond.

Becoming overwhelmed creates lonliness which has no age limit, nor world status for it preys on all when lifes adversities engulf our very being. But dear brothers and sisters, God is always here! He always listens, always cares and He knows what we need even before we speak but who do we go to before we ask Him for help? Family and friends.

Our human nature wants to reach out to someone in flesh, someone who can hold and assure us that 'it will be okay'. Does the hug feel good? Yes ~ does the contact make us feel better inside? Yes BUT; how long does that truly last?

With God the hug can go on forever, the reassurance that it WILL be better, just trust and give all your cares to Him.

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired and weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will sour on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:28-31)

Reach out to our Heavenly Father first, humble yourself before Him and seek His guidance and comfort. Always give Him praise and wait, watch, and absorb; bask in His glory with hands raised to the heavens in a spiritual "dance" of awakening.

He WILL supply you with all of your needs for He is the one and only God who will never ever 'forget' us and will always fill the void within our soul and lonely you will never be again.

Now share with your family and friends how God can fill the void.
