Ophelia Speaks

Ophelia
by John Everett Millais, 1852

"Sweet Ophelia! O heavens! is't possible a young maid's wits
should be as mortal as an old man's life?"
--Shakespeare

Welcome to my page. Yes, I am Ophelia and I am speaking. First I would like to apologize in advance for any amateur errors on the page...I am quite computer illiterate. I just decided to join the rest of society (very unlike me) and make a webpage. First...a few things about me (not that you care, but deal with it.)

My name isn't really Ophelia, but we'll just pretend, ok? I am a college sophomore, but sometimes I just like to forget that and pretend I am the leader of a small country. Anyway, I hate the task of describing myself, so just check out the rest of my page, and decide for yourself who I am. Then let me know. My high school friends would testify (truthfully) that I am an anti-social, wild depressive obsessed with impossible dreams, like being the first female to head the largest mafia family in the country, or marrying Prince William, crowning myself Queen of England (I am American). I don't consider these impossible, just different. (Oh and by the way, I AM the long lost Anastasia Romanov.)

Now onto things you actually care about...

As I see it right now, this website will contain lyrics, poems, pictures, links, and my personal musings on everything from Ani Difranco to Kate Chopin's The Awakening--everything that is important to me, or that I feel connected to. Please bear with me, however, as it may take me some time to get the hang of all this HTML crap. So, please enjoy. Or don't. I don't really care, but feel free to e-mail me either way.
