Mama Loves You
My little buddy went to the vet's for a shave and did not come out of the anaesthesia. He was only 4 and in perfect health. I don't understand why he had to leave me so soon, but I am grateful for the loving time we had together. He was my best friend, my baby, and gave me as much love as my heart could hold. I will always miss him and he will remain THE best, most loving, most faithful cat I've ever shared my life with.
I brought him home from the shelter as a scrawny, flea-infested 6-week old. He was so small you couldn't pet him without knocking him over. He was a runt, and so ugly he was cute. He grew into a beautiful animal - smallish for his breed, but a magnificent monster, nearly three feet from his nose to the tip of his tail, and weighing 15 pounds. I doted on him constantly -- I used to joke that I showed people his picture as if he were my kid.

He did many things to amuse us on a daily basis, from his double-octave Mega-Purr to his habit of making me sit with him while he ate (Gawd help me if I tried to leave the room!). He walked happily on a leash, and loved to meet new people. He had these giant feet and he'd sit on his haunches with his front paws in a perfect turn-out. He was highly intelligent and very clever, and had lots of great personality quirks, the memories of which will keep me smiling for many years to come.

Relaxing in a favorite window Clipping Gabe's nails was quite a task!
So handsome, and he knows it! A rare photo of Gabe happily lounging aside his "sister", Lily

I will keep his webpage up in his memory. Click here to go to "Silly String". I love you, Little Boo.
