My little buddy went to the vet's for a shave and did not come out of the anaesthesia. He was only 4 and in perfect health. I don't understand why he had to leave me so soon, but I am grateful for the loving time we had together. He was my best friend, my baby, and gave me as much love as my heart could hold. I will always miss him and he will remain THE best, most loving, most faithful cat I've ever shared my life with.I brought him home from the shelter as a scrawny, flea-infested 6-week old. He was so small you couldn't pet him without knocking him over. He was a runt, and so ugly he was cute. He grew into a beautiful animal - smallish for his breed, but a magnificent monster, nearly three feet from his nose to the tip of his tail, and weighing 15 pounds. I doted on him constantly -- I used to joke that I showed people his picture as if he were my kid.
