6/16/98 - Today i bought a car, a 1992 Honda Civic DX. It's a 4 door automatic. black, no tint, although engine was clean! =P i HELLA wanted a manual shift, but my parents said no, i said darn! oh well, i was just thinking of maybe doing some little things here and there to spiff it up to my potential.
9/9/00 - Today earl sold my front bumper to some guy with a crx. he sold it for $150 and i'm giving earl $25 for selling it. eh...i lost money big time here, but i just wanted to get rid of the darn thing! =P
9/24/00 - The strut bar in my car was taken off and whatever was left of the strobe light kit i took off as well. as i turned the power on that night, i heard/saw a spark and my whole system, bass lights, and black lights turned off. i assumed that i blew a fuse because one of the wires from the strobes were left dangling in the engine bay which caused a short.
9/25/00 - In between classes, i took off the excess wire that was in the engine bay that was connected to my strobes and my system red wire. after i did that, i replaced the 30amp fuse that was located near the battery and turned my system on. everything went well.
9/26/00 - Today karen and i went to pann auto to go get her car lowered. what ended up being a $50 job came out to be a $100 job because i had them swap out my jackson racing camber kits from my car into karen's. i got her stock camber mounts and had that installed in my car. it took pann 2-3 hours just to lower a car. how sorry!! i could've done it less than an hour. oh well!! professionals!!
9/27/00 - We took our cars to firestone to get wheel alignments and possibly a camber adjustment. well, my car was first and the guy told me that i need to replace my front tires because they are really worn. while my car was at the shop, i had karen's car at the pad. i was putting washers in her rear tires. i put about 3 washers on each bolt to fix the camber in the back. (estimated) once the cars were done, they run smoothly now. we can now take corners in karen's car at 100 mph (sarcasm, but close to it...heh heh!)
2/18/01 - I don't remember the last time i took stuff off my car, but if i haven't put anything up i'm sorry. been busy lately because of school. i'm taking 22 units this semester. I gave karen the strut bar the same day we got her car aligned by firestone. i installed the intake with filter also.
6/5/02 - Today is my birthday. Got bored today so i decided to update my page...haha, anyways, will throw a BBQ on saturday the 8th and invited all my friends. umm, couple months ago i got my system stolen outta my car so i don't have it anymore. fucking bitches!! anyways, i did my brakes on the 4th of may and it's okay (front) flushed system as well. until i update next time. peace.
6/21/98 - I bought some air fresheners, and Marvin the Martian floormats...haha, i guess i'm trying to create my own styles. Also went to get my windows tinted. Pretty cheap, $120 for the 2 back windows, the rear and the little strip above my windshield. Looking hella nice.
6/30/98 - Me and my dad went to Al and Ed's Autosound to go get my Prestige Alarm System hooked up. I'm not sure how much it cost. I was looking around at some stereo equipment...hmmm, a system? maybe in the future, i'm hard up on cash.
7/14/98 - My cousin John hooked me up with a Panasonic tape deck, Panasonic 8 disc cd changer, and two 6.5" 130W Pioneer speakers in the back. Bumps better than stock stereo for sure. Maybe when i save up for another car, i'm gonna ask him to hook me up with an LCD tv. Too bad he lives all the way up in San Jose.
10/98 - Me and my homeboy Earl went to Import Showoff in Del Mar. I wanted to get some ideas for my car, but at this time i wasn't all into cars that much. i guess the future holds the key.
2/12/99 - My first attempt to actually do something with my car's performance. i went to my friend Manny's house to ask what i can do to increase performance. the best tip he told me "The more free-flowing air you have, the more horsepower you get".We removed the stock resonator to my car. oh well, at least i get at least 2-3 hp added to my car. i'm wondering if i should just get an intake for my car, but which kind? 2/18/99 - Manny went to LA today to go pick up some parts from his friend. he called me up to ask if i wanted to buy some clear corner lamps, and his friend's exhaust. it is an Ultra Flow exhaust, with a 5 Zigen Tip...75 bucks! i told him to get it for me and he also brought back clear corners for 20 bucks. pretty good deals here, even though it's only an automatic. =P
2/20/99 - I went to American Muffler over in Convoy to get my exhaust welded on. i was cringing when the guy welded off my stock exhaust. Well, he welded it off, put a joint flex extention then welded my new exhaust on. It's hella big. the tip is a 5 Zigen and width is 4.5". after he was done welding it on, he said to just give him 20 bucks. SWEET! This is the same place where manny got his piping from for his turbo. the guy told me to floor the gas, nice ass sound to the car. i liked it a lot!
5/24/99 - Today i was on the internet lookin up shit i could possibly do to my car in the meanwhile that i am saving up money. i've seen some people with their tailights all red. i got curious and looked it up. i came to find out that all they did was buy a translucent red spray. you can purchase this at any hobby store and spray the outside of your tailights. that is what i did, but i also but a finish of clearcoat to shine it up. looks really nice!
6/1/99 - It's been almost a year since i bought my car and finally decided to do something with this piece of crap. i bought Sprint Racing Springs from Pann Auto. They are blue coated, 2.5" drop in front 2" drop in back. Me and my friend Manny installed them that same day. He was suggesting that i get some camber kits so my camber won't get all out of line.
6/22/99 - Went to Al and Ed's Autosound to check up on some speakers, possibly a system if i had enough money on me. i came out with two 6.5" Sony Xplod's. i installed them when i got home. The sound was clearer, but i still wasn't finding that bass.
7/1/99 - i bought a Razo carbon fiber shift knob. that's all, pretty easy to install. three screws to the twist. WaLA!
7/8/99 - I went to junkyards and found a manual shift boot for my model car. i dunno?! i just wanted to make the darn car like a stick shift...haha, i've fooled so many heads now. Is it stick or powershift...uhh, both?! hehehe
7/12/99 - Manny told me about some dude selling his Jackson Racing camber kits. It cost me around 300 bucks. They would be in in 2 weeks.
7/24/99 - The cambers came in today! i went over to Manny's pad to get them installed. they are pretty cool. Adjustable to -3 or +3. i have them set to -2, but had to grind the inside of the fender lining and the ends of the struts to allow for clearance. for the back camber, we just put washers to push the wheels out. of course with any adjustment to your springs or cambers, you will need a wheel alignment.
8/12/99 - I've finally decided to get a system. i was checking out deals in the READER magazine and found this one place called Stereo Warehouse. The deal i got was a 10" JBL in a bandpass box, Conquest CSC 680. it's a 390 watt amp bridged with crossover. Took them about 3-4 hours to install cuz them fools lag. I got everything for $315.
9/10/99 - I got some mesh grill over at Home Depot and some rivets to hook up my grill to the bumper. It took hellavuh long time to cut the front piece off because i simply didn't know what the fuck i was doing. anyways, i finally just sawed off everything, but had to keep the middle piece because of how it's molded to the bumper...damnit! heh heh. but anyways, it was looking sharp. well i guess i'll have to do away with a kit for awhile. making money is hard!
10/2/99 - i painted my instrument cluster chrome. i got this idea from Manny. there are some paint runnings, but i guess it'll have to do for now.
10/12/99 - Today i bought some clear sidemarkers for my car from Pann Auto. One thing that kinda got me mad about them selling it to me is that it didn't come with the lights or connectors. i went to Pep Boys to go buy separate light connectors and hooked it up that night. Took me like the whole day because i had to dremel off part of the metal on the side of the car. Poor baby! The wires for the sidemarkers hook up to the corner lights so i finally got where i wanted to go with them after blowing so many fuses...heh heh.
10/24/99 - Me and Earl went to this Import Showoff again up in Del Mar. This time i did take pictures, but just of civics so i can get some ideas on possible kits, rims or just simple ideas on what to do next to my car. I also picked up some red H emblems. these are different than the metal ones, these are sticker ones, the bubbly kind. they show a lot better than the other ones i had on.
11/15/99 - I had ordered my projectors about 2 weeks ago and finally got them in today. Fred Su hooked me up with the chrome housing projector headlights. they are sharkeyes brand. Nice looking lights, one problem though, they didn't come with instructions to hook them up. i went to my friend, Romyr's house to go set them up. pretty simple after he showed me where the connections go.
11/16/99 - I was so bored this day that i really wanted to do something with the effects of the inside of the car. my original plan was just to put a mood light inside of my bandpass box clearly ended up to be a disco party inside my car. the lights flicker when the bass kicks in. haha, u gotta see it to believe it. i literally hooked up red mood lights inside of my car. the wires run from the box to the driver and passenger side seat belts. i have blue mood lights too, but they are too bright that i might get popped by the police. i need to find some way i can hook up a switch so i can turn them on and off to my desire.
11/20/99 - Shit! i was fuckin around with the connections to my projectors and now my low beams don't work, well they work, but not on the right headlight. everything else is fine, but that right headlight. the high beam works, but just not the low beam...GrrRRRr. i just hate when i wanna work on something specific and i end up fuckin something else. oh well, i'll prolly take it to Pann or something to see if i can get it fixed. does anyone know where i can get my projectors fixed? i think it's just the wiring insided that burned out.
11/20/99 (the same night) heh heh! opps...umm, well guess what, i got the right headlight working again. i guess one of the bulbs were out of sync or the wiring was done incorrectly. i just re-adjusted the H3 bulb and tada! it works! also i have my blue mood lights hooked up inside. looks neat-o! i just have to find a way to wire up a switch so i won't get popped for them if a cop sees me driving around.
11/23/99 - I bought some Razo racing pedals today. it was $40, installation was pretty straight-forward with the pictures...haha, so what if the instructions are in japanese or wutever haha...the drawings are good enough for me. =)
11/28/99 - Just when the week winds down, you find out your friends are not cool with you, and you are in between friends, I GET A FUCKIN TICKET TODAY! Thanksgiving weekend isn't really what it's choked up to be. HA! no THANKS is more like it. today around 4:30pm, cops pulled me over for my tint and for my "muffler modified to create noise". DON'T THE COPS GOT BETTER THINGS TO DO THAN TO GIVE ME DAMN TICKETS?! fuckin cops...ahhhh! what rage. well there goes my tint, i guess i should just take it off to be on the safe side now; and for my muffler...i'm gonna miss it. so off it'll go on tuesday 11/30/99. i'm gonna have to bring my stock muffler with me to get it welded back onto my car....=*| no more VrRroOom..GrRrrrRRrR. well i dunno, maybe this is a sign that i need another car...haha, something i can't fix up. =ž well at least i still have my lil doo gags inside the car and my system. maybe my car should just be a show car? hmm...should i still get the GSR rims from karen this weekend? should i still get a kit? or should i just save my money and return this car back to stock. i guess my love for this hobby isn't all what it's cracked up to be. all i can say is this...
11/30/99 - At around 10:30am today, i went to Diamond Tinting to tell them about the tint on my front windows. i asked them to take it off and they did...for a fee! =P i guess i wasn't thinking here cuz tint is supposed to be easy to remove than to put on. they charged me 30 bucks! gosh, what's wrong with me!! well then later, around 2:30pm i went to American Muffler where i got my Ultra Flow exhaust welded on, they took it off. i just kept grinning cuz i told the guy what happened when i got the ticket...he was just like "THOSE DAMN COPS, FUCKING FUCKERS!" LOL i was like EXACTLY, I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN. so now that i have my tint and my muffler off. the guy said they usually charge 40 bucks to mount or take off a muffler, but since i've been there before and got my muffler done by them, he only charged me only 25 bucks. when i got home, i cleaned and polished the exhaust. now to find a buyer...anyone..60 bucks?!
12/1/99 - I went to Pann Auto Performance and picked up some universal strobe lights. Cost me 25 bucks.
12/2/99 - WoWie WoWie! heh heh! ok ok, i went ahead and installed the strobes in my clear corners. it's hella trippy! Gosh everytime i go to the races now, those damn ravers are gonna be dancing around my car...haha! the lights blink every 2 seconds and i put in a switch located just below the light dimmer by the dash. i like it!!!
12/3/99 - I went to Irvine at around 9am to go to karen's house to look at the rims she is selling. i was expecting to look at the 95 GSR's but luckily they were the 98 GSR's. i was amazed...i love these rims! they look like stock prelude ones. Amazingly enough she sold them to me for $300 with pretty much new tires (Michelin 195/55/15)! i said yes! i put them on today and they are looking sweet! they raised the car a little bit, but they will adjust and the car will be lowered hopefully. over this weekend i'm gonna go to Firestone and get my free lifetime wheel alignment and the wheels balanced. =)

12/8/99 - PepBoys always gots some good shit for cheap. that's where i buy all my accessories for my car. i got a switch for the mood lights. i was thinking about getting some black lights also, but i'm gonna hold out on those for awhile since it's the holiday season and i need to save to get people gifts and stuff. After pepboys i went to radioshack and bought brighter LED's for my corner lamps and some other connectors. hmm..i'm kinda running out of ideas for this car now...u guys got any?
12/11/99 - Well yesterday, my strobe lights decided not to work. i couldn't think what was wrong. i left my car at Earl's house so we can take his truck to go to the races, when i came back 2-3 hours later, i turned the switch on to my strobes and they weren't working. i was thinking well maybe i should leave them on for awhile because sometimes it needs to warm up before they go off. well, i waited and nothing was working. today i checked all the connections and there seems to be power but something inside the module box isn't working. i just decided to take them out and bring them over to an electronics repair shop. unfortunately they were closed. i went to pann and wanted to just buy a brand new set but those fuckers jacked up the price from 25 to 40 bucks! i was like...wtf?! i asked them about that and they said the reason they sold it to me for 25 is because they sold me the demo one...bullshit, it was a brand new pack. i also noticed with all those packs, they only came with 3 out of the 5 colors that were supposed to be in the packages. i was wondering how come i only got these certain colors and not all of them...none of them would tell me...pann sucks!! fuck them! they can't make up they're minds...they are kinda like car dealers, not giving you the full benefit. i tried to return them but there are no returns on electronics...well bullshit, you guys gave me the dud! oh well fuck it, i'm just gonna go check out the electronics repair shop and see what they can do. i hope they don't charge me on the repair.
12/13/99 - Okay well fuck it, i just went ahead and bought a whole new unit. i couldn't find any places that would fix my unit. i think they busted because the ground wire was touching the positive and had a reaction so they fried. anyways, this time i went to advance cuz i don't trust pann auto at the moment. well these ones are $39.99. hopefully these don't break (knock on wood).
12/14/99 - I was anxiously waiting for 2pac's new cd to come out today but i heard the announcement on the radio that it will be coming out on the 21st. it's the same day DMX is coming out too! SIKK! ok but anyways, i got hyperwhites today for my sidemarkers over at 99 RANCH. they have like a lil shop there for car accessories. this is the same place where i bought my pedals. i need to get the hybrid hyper white corners. nobody seems to have them in stock. there is a carshow up in anaheim December the 19th. i wanna go, maybe i'll find something there.
12/19/99 - Me, Anh and Jerry went to showoff classic up in anaheim...haha, on our fabulous road trip, Anh got a ticket for speeding and not yielding to the rightside of the road. we hate cops! no really that many "hoe girls" over there, we didn't even see Alley Bagget! wtf?! anyways, i took some pictures and hope to make a section here for import cars soon.
12/27/99 - My friend Victor aka Yoda, came over to the pad today and bought my exhaust for 70 bones. i also referred him to American Muffler to get his shit attached. he put it on his gf's white 4 door civic (1995). so the hangers fit perfect. i'm thinkin he liked it, plus he got hooked up big. i'm glad i got rid of it..although i'm gonna miss it's sound =\
12/28/99 - Well i went back to firestone and told them the problem about the vibration i had up front with my wheels. they did another wheel balance and the problem was corrected. oh and hey, i saw Victor rollin around down by my uncles pad in chula vista...haha, he didn't see me but i heard that exhaust. it was him and his homie in the car. i wanted to say wassup, but when he turned the corner he was gone. couldn't believe i saw him...neat!
1/12/00 - Today i got the stickers for our team. TEAM AUTOTRONIC. so far we have 7 members. me, anh, nimitz, jasmine, lisa, ryan and sanders. i backed off on the visor because i think it's too much. plus i don't know if i'm gonna get popped for it because it is big. no strip though but it's would look pretty good with the car. the logo is red outline with TEAM in silver. i paid $17.13. maybe sometime in the future i'll get the visor, it looks pretty nice. be sure to check out the other website about TEAM AUTOTRONIC.
1/21/00 - Me and another member of TEAM AUTOTRONIC, Nimitz, helped me put on my visor sticker. it looks way better now. hopefully though it doesn't attract unwanted guests because then that would be a bitch. i think tomorrow i'm going to order my Showoff Combat front bumper. i'll probably go to Epic Motorsports and see what's up.
1/26/00 - Went to anh's pad last night and epoxied my sidemarkers to the body of the car. there's a little glue left on the body, but i hope to get that off soon. As for the Showoff Combat front, i'm holding out on that because of lack of funds.
1/31/00 - I bought some blue L.E.D. mood lights that just hook up to the cigarette lighter. i got them at 99 ranch for 29 bucks plus tax. i should've just waited until hot import nights february 5th cuz they probably would have had some anyways and for cheap. well, i'm totally broke right now and i just bought some tickets for wwf on february 12 so i dunno if i'm gonna get anything over at hot import nights. if anything, just another strobe kit. my paycheck comes on the 12th and i'm spending all that and it's going towards my showoff combat front bumper.
2/4/00 - Today i bought some trim paint and re-did my side trimming on the windows. i dunno why that shit peels off so easily, but they look ok now except for one side. i think because something was on the surface and that's why the paint doesn't wanna stick. i'll re-do it again. also took off my tailights and respray painted them hot rod red. tomorrow is hot import nights and i'm gonna take mad pics! our whole crew is gonna represent. hopefully it doesn't sell out.
2/5/00 - Hot Import Nights was fucking dope! we got there around 4pm but they didn't start selling tickets till 5pm. there were a lot of people, but it's all good! i bought an AC Autodesigns front strut bar for 35 bills. i'm going to wait until tomorrow for me to install it. I bought it from the same place where i bought my intake over in anaheim. LEGENDS is what the store's name is believe.
2/18/00 - Well, it's friday night and i'm helping my dad with his dj thing over at Premier dance club. i had just parked and gotten out of my car, the other car was backing up and straight backed up into my rear bumper. i was pissed! he almost started driving off, but then he pulled into another parking space beside me. not really too much damage, just a scratch. the next day i took a look at it and the paint is starting to crack.
2/21/00 - I went to Chapparone Auto Body over on miramar road and got an estimate on the damage. the guy took a look at it and said it would just be a better idea to replace the whole bumper. the total damage and paint job that would have to be done amounts to $461.39. shit! i can just buy a brand new kit with that money. well anyways, time to deal with insurance and all that crap. I was also talking to my dad when i was filling out the paperwork and he suggested that i just repaint my whole car. I was like REALLY?! so i might just get another paint job. i was thinking though that i save up for my front bumper, get that fitted and painted, then get my whole car repainted. i'll see what's up. i don't know what color i want to go with, but i was just thinking of going black again, but with silver sparkles. it's all a matter of time.
3/4/00 - Today i received my carbon fiber bezel. it's pretty sick! it's the sticker kind. Also, an update on my car...i'm bringing it to the shop on the 6th and will be left in there for 3 days. Karen came down today with Rod, his girl Marilou, Karen's sister and 2 brothers. They didn't stay long, but Karen is ordering my indiglo gauges for my car. HmmM...maybe i should just work on interior and exterior now. Maybe work more on my suspension, save up for headers and a new exhaust, and definitely the lights. anyone have any ideas i can use?
3/6/00 - This morning i went to Enterprise and got my Oldsmobile Alero rental car! =P it's pretty quick...haha, i was messing around with it earlier on how fast it goes. well my car is expected to be done in 3 days so we'll see what happens. in the meanwhile, i got this thing.
3/8/00 - I got my car back from the shop around 2pm today. The rear bumper is much more shiny than the whole car =P. pretty good paint job though, even though it was raining and all. i have a 5 year warranty and i also got an estimate on how much it would cost to repaint my whole car the same color. it's about $1200-$1500 for it. anyone know any hookups with good quality paint? Tijuana doesn't cut it!
3/11/00 - What a day! the greatest day (almost) happened. team autotronic finally had the chance to get together and show up. we took pics of the cars and the crew members. unfortunately the pictures didn't come out right so we have to re-schedule another meeting. i also got my indiglo gauges today. i'll wait till tomorrow to hook them up.
3/12/00 - Sweet looking gauges Karen hooked me up with. Installation was pretty simple. they fit right over the stock gauges. Word of advice. do not try to pull the needles off of the gauges. YOU'LL BREAK THEM. i learned this from working on my friend anh's accord. I had a hard time hooking up the electrical part of the gauges. so i didn't mess around with it anymore. I'll prolly go somewhere to get help.
3/13/00 - Today i ditched class to go to Group 5 Motorsports to ask about my indiglo gauges. I think he's the store manager, but Albert recommended me to go to Stereo Warehouse to go get the electrical hooked up because Group 5 doesn't do that. Stereo Warehouse is the same place where i got my system hooked up. I talked to James, guy in the back, about it and he looked at it, saw the dimmer switch, connected the two wires to the positive and a ground and he was done in 2 minutes. Fuck! haha, i could've done that. well he was cool, he didn't charge me anything. These gauges are awesome! they shine bright blue. i love em.
3/24/00 - I tried a different place to go get my car done at. i had to get my rear brake shoes replaced because it came to the point where i had to push the brake pedal all the way to the floor to stop the car. I went to a place called ON TIME AUTO REPAIR. well as always, my dad bitches about what i do to my car, but do i listen...NOPE! heh heh...i'm hard-headed. well they also inspected the front brakes and all. i need those changed. they said since i lowered the car, i need to change the upper control arms, bushings, front brake rotors and front brake pads all for $150. should i do it? damn expenses. that would correct all my suspension problems. well, more to ponder about...the manager vinny is already giving me a hook up price.
3/28/00 - FINALLY!!! i got my credit card the other day and once i got that, i went ahead and ordered the Showoff combat front bumper over at Epic Motorsports. It cost me $299. They did not have any in stock so they had to get it from another place to have it shipped to their place. It should be in by next wednesday 4/5/00.
4/6/00 - If anyone knows the definition of "LAG" it's Epic Motorsports. Homeboy told me it would be in on the 5th, i called and they said they had it. I went in and then when i asked again...the owner said no. wtf?! the guy that sold it to me said he went up to LA hoping he'd pick it up, but andy's autosport didn't have one in stock so they had to order one from japan! fuck!!!! so i have to wait 10 days or 2 weeks for my bumper. the service is very slow and bad. the owner was in there cussing at this one other dude because the owner of the whole building is having drama with Epic and wants them out of the building. Everytime i go to Epic, there's cussing and these guys hardly attend to your needs. this will be my last time going there for parts..fuck that. i guess i'll just do my shopping at pann and group 5.
4/13/00 - I was chillen outside my pad when the mailman rolled by. i had this gut feeling i was gonna get my euro clear corner lamps today. i had ordered them 2-3 days ago from e-bay. they cost me 25 bills. i also called up epic motorsports to ask about my bumper and they said that it would be in on the 17th. we'll see!
4/17/00 - OKAY! it's finally monday and i called epic AGAIN. do these people know the meaning of customer service?! shiet! okay well they say this thursday the 20th. if they don't have my bumper by that day, then i'm calling this thing off. i bought some hyperwhite bulbs today and for my sidemarkers. it's pretty cool. cost me 38 bucks. it emits a light blue color. i got it at group 5. group 5 is cool!
4/21/00 - The day finally came! i got my front bumper. It took them well over 3 weeks to finally get it. me, nimitz and earl went to epic, just when they were about to close. if i didn't get it in today, i was gonna have them credit it back to my account. now the bumper is just chillen upstairs in my room. i'm gonna wait awhile i guess so i can raise up some money to go get it put on. the bumper is fiberglass.
4/26/00 - I met up with manny today and we went down this this place called Triple A Auto Body...they had PPG paint which is the best shit they got. I showed them my bumper and they said that they would paint it for $125, and to fit it $275. hmm...well, manny just told me that he fitted his front bumper himself. i told the guy at the shop that i would just come back tomorrow and get the $125 deal. i went home and fitted the bumper myself and there is just one flaw. i had to take off the actual metal bumper, so now my car is unsafe when i drive it around. i'm scared to crash it...ahhhhh! okay well i tried to fit it and i wouldn't say it's perfect, but i got it to where it could possibly work. the front hangs in a lil and the front part of the hood sticks out. as for the sides of the bumper, it's not completely smooth with the fenders, but i think it's alright. i rolled around with the bumper on tomorrow and it looks hella tight! i'm gonna leave my car with Triple A tomorrow and hopefully i get it back by Saturday. 4/28/00 - I called up Triple A to ask about the status of my car. It was finished! I called up my homegirl Jen to ask if she can go with me to go pick it up. We got there and i didn't see my car, then when i parked the camry, aWwWwW DaMN! it looked hella sweet! the paint was excellent. i'm going to these guys again for my hood, side skirts and back lip. $125. i let jen drive the car so i can look at it in the rear view of the camry...haha, i'll have pics of my car updated on here soon.
4/29/00 - I went over to Home Depot and bought some grill to put on the bumper. it cost me 20 bucks! what a rip, but when i was finished putting it on...it looked hella good. heh heh, i've already scratched the bottom left portion of my bumper...it can't be seen though. i love it!
5/11/00 - So i came home today from school and just stared at my bumper. For some reason, i just wasn't satisfied with the way it fit. i pulled out the dremel tool and pulled the bumper out more and made more holes in the bumper....ugh! when i was finished, it was greatly improved. the hood doesn't hang out anymore and it's pretty much smoothed out. i got tired of always re-attaching the blacklights to the roof of the car cuz the sticky tape that is supposed to stick is not doing its job. so what i did was screw in some screws to hold it in place...works great! problem though, one of them is cracking. i told anh about that and he knew about it....he wants them back now..=\ just when i was having fun with them. oh well. maybe i can just bargain with him and he'll let me have them. ha!
5/23/00 - About a week ago i ordered 2 15" neon black lights from this company called JcWhitney they cost me $24.99 for one, about $60 for a pair. i got them today and i also installed them today. it was pretty easy. Also i finally fixed my alarm to where when i arm it, the lights flicker again. it was a blown 15 fuse that i blew when i was re-wiring/connecting L.E.D.'s in my corners. I also increased the sensitivity and now my car is much much better.
6/10/00 - I was on my way to la jolla shores when the left turn signal turned green. i made the left turn and i guess i didn't see the dip and went straight through it so there's this big ass chip on the front of my bumper....GrRrRRRrrrR! the paint is cracking also and there are parts on the bumper where paint is lost. sucks caca!! i'm thinking if i should just take my bumper off and let it chill for awhile. i want to get sell my car now, but my dad won't let me. =P how come?? karen and i were thinking about getting a hatchback and fixing it up and stuff....i hella want one. we'll see what happens, i'm saving up money now.
7/6/00 - I've been chillen for awhile with the car. some guy wanted to buy my GSR rims for 350 but didn't cuz he changed his mind all last minute...dumb fuck! okay well i took off my rims and put the stock ones back on. then put my stock bumper back on too. i guess when i was putting on the metal bumper back, i squished the strobe wire and so now they don't work. that's my guess though. i need to save money and get money so i can get my hatchback.
7/22/00 - I had sold my rims to Lisa's homegirl Leika. she bought them for $300. eh, i wanted to get rid of them so i could get some money...all good! i need to get rid of this bumper now. no more fixing up my sedan. i have 500 saved up for the hatchback. it's gonna be pretty hard to save up money for the ride because i won't be working for a year. i have to concentrate on school.
9/8/00 - I was coming back from the courthouse this morning with nimitz when my car's exhaust piping snapped in half. i had to go to karen's pad to help her move to her new apartment so i just took my mom's car. over the weekend, my dad raised my car and fixed my exhaust piping. here is the costs of the expenses:
i could have easily gotten the piping done for $20 over at American muffler (the same place where i had my exhaust installed) and as far as the raising of my car is concerned, i could have just left it. i want my parents to get me another car. since they won't let me have another lowered car for some reason...how about a truck?? my mom always wanted one anyways. =P
