Zane Alexander Olson
Descendant of Wilford McKee
The war extended to the Mc Kee family when my great-great grandfather, Wilford H. Mc Kee, Sr., joined the Union ranks.
He mustered into the 7th Regiment, Missouri Calvary, Company F. He ranked in and out as a private. (re: National Archives Microfilm Box, Roll, and Record: 000390, 0032, 00000131) There are no family members left to discuss with or research any information with his involvement, only sources of the tales I have found on the internet and read in history books.
If you have a family member who served in the 7th Missouri Calvary, email me your information, and I will gladly add it to this page.
