Welcome to my site, also known as "May's Journal"! (Formerly known as "May's Literature & Manuscripts"). Since I like to write a lot during my freetime, that is why my site is called "May's Journal." Here, you will find my fictional story, "Friendships and Relationships," which I am writing. I have also created a section where you can read some info and small tidbits about the characters I have created for my story. There is also a section on some random stuff about me if you are curious or want to know some info on me. So, check everything out. Hope you enjoy my story!

Hello everyone; I apologize for not updating in the past few weeks or so; the past couple of weeks were quite hectic and busy for me. I had my last exam to take, then I had graduation; after that, I wasn't home for about a week or so. After I returned home, I was pretty exhausted from everything that happened. But here I am again, finally. Today, I posted an interview that one of my good friends gave to me; it was a great idea that turned out really well, so I thought I might share it here. Check it out, if you're interested in reading about some of my personal thoughts and views on things. As for my story, the most recent chapter written is still Chapter 24, but I am thinking up the scenario for Chapter 25 and am working on it. In addition, my story page got 2 polls recently! I urge all the readers to please participate and vote in them, since I really am interested in seeing which characters are popular among the readers and which scenes the readers enjoyed reading about. So, if you haven't done so already, please vote! A big thank you to all those whom have voted already; I appreciate the feedback! Many thanks to all the avid and dedicated readers of my story for your patience and your anticipation to read what will happen next in my story; it's quite flattering and touching. Also, my appreciation and gratitude to those avid readers for their comments and interest in the story; it means a lot. Now that it's July, I may have some more adequate time to write and update a bit more than I used to. I've been on my summer vacation for a couple of weeks now so far; it feels good to not have the frustration and stress of academics, school, and whatnot. I am not sure yet exactly what my summer plans will be as of now, but hopefully I will be able to take a real vacation away soon; I'm really hoping for that. Please continue to be patient and bear with me for now; I know it's taken what seemed like forever for me to come by and update in a while, and for that I am truly sorry about.
Once again, I am not quite sure just yet what my plans for the summer are, but hopefully they will be worthwhile and enjoyable....and as great as last summer was for me, since my last summer was really awesome for the most part. Well, my summer activities from last year have been posted here for a while, but I'll keep it up for now, just for the heck of it and the sake of it already being here for so long. During most of August, I was out of town and away from home; traveling on trips to new places by myself. My travels included a trip abroad as well as a trip to California for the second time around (I have been there before). Both of my trips were really wonderful; I had an awesome time, and they were such amazing experiences. It was really cool to travel to a new city and see different places; very nice indeed. All in all, I had a blast, and my summer was pretty great overall. I guess you could say that this past summer was definitely my first summer that I did quite a lot of traveling for once, which was fantastic.
The last few movies I saw at the theater were over the summer of 2001 were "Legally Blonde" and "A.I. Artificial Intelligence" on Friday, July 13th (Friday the 13th!!). It was my 2nd time seeing "A.I." actually (what can I say; I like the movie!). And while I was in California almost a month ago, I saw "The Princess Diaries" there. They were all pretty good movies to watch; I recommend them. Since then, I haven't gotten around to seeing any new movies yet, but I do plan on seeing the new "Harry Potter" movie at the theater, without a doubt!
And if you haven't already done so, please check out the banners my site has now; I have 2 banners for my main homepage, as well as for my story page, thanks to my friend, Christine! Anyhow, well, I have still been thinking about my story, and brainstorming ideas of what I could have happen next in the future chapters of my story. And I haven't forgotten about writing my story; I still really enjoy writing stories too; I just haven't had much free time lately and everything. When I do have some time, I will definitely write more chapters and stuff! So, just be patient. Once again, I'm really sorry about not updating so often, and not adding new chapters more often either; as soon as I have more time, I definitely will! So, please be patient! Thanks a lot! When my summer vacation comes, I should have some adequate time to write a few more chapters for my story after my trips, and update again soon. The Characters page has not been updated recently, but it definitely will be soon; I'm always creating and adding a lot more characters to the page...and even more characters should be coming soon!
