Consulting Manager, Ernst & Young LLP - New York, NY

Project Leader responsible for all facets of providing management and information systems consulting services to our clients. Duties include managing client account relationships, staffing engagement roles, billing, and delivery of services. Also responsible for maintaining a proactive culture, encouraging knowledge development, teaching leadership skills, and ensuring effective communication. Developed new services for our Process Transformation, Development Effectiveness™, IT Effectiveness™, and Shared Services product lines. Taught the E&Y Consulting for the Advanced Practitioner class.

Managed the implementation of new IT production management processes for CIGNA in Software Change Management (SCM) and Program Management using the CMM and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes. Developed process models using Visio and delivered presentations using Powerpoint.

Facilitated the support team and help desk for a development outsourcing organization at Sprint to provide architecture, COBOL, CMM, and infrastructure support.

Reviewed the design and maintainability of a cellular phone system at Convergys. Created an organizational change program and a process improvement portfolio.

Assessed the help desk and revised problem management processes during the post-merger integration of the NASD and AMEX Stock Exchanges.

Managed the testing team for Standard & Poor’s www.ratingsdirect.com at E&Y’s Advanced Development Center. Developed the testing approach and infrastructure using Lotus Notes for project management and software quality assurance.

Managed the development architecture of a three-tier client-server development of DLJ’s broker workstation project. Supervised the team providing defect tracking, configuration management, technical infrastructure, and automated testing.

Developed a shared-service center architecture to coordinate E&Y’s audit industry knowledge management and delivery system. Designed the intranet, technical architecture, and office infrastructure.

Redesigned E&Y’s resource and staffing management system using object-oriented analysis and intranet technology.

Programmed the international night cycle of the CS/First Boston(Japan) Purchase & Sales System. Modified COBOL, JCL, & Natural modules for multi-currency trading.
