A Siren, Louis-Maurice Boutet de Monvel
These images are posted here as a reference of what so far has been an experience of distinguishing humans from non-humans. Yes, we all resemble one another, by the untrained eye alone you cannot tell apart differing creatures. But it is an inner quality that the individual posseses, an essence. There is a marked difference, it is something you feel or just know, it cannot be explained. I will not elaborate on what exactly all of this is, this is merely a stepping stone in it's own respect, and in truth an entire book and/or site could be devoted to this topic. If you look closely, a peculiarity in their facial features is prominent, a veil of foreigness is over their auras, and in some photos the actual subject is distorted more. The old adage is true, they eyes are the windows to the soul. The question is, looking to their eyes, what feelings does it conjure in you? If more pictures suface, they will be posted.
