Our chairman comes in the top 10 out of over 300 applicants across the country for the coveted Spotlight wards for achieving the greatest impact in their community. For details see Spotlight links above. In October 2004 During Local Democracy Week, our own chairman chaired a major conference in the Borough Council Chamber. This was attended by local borough councillors and Hemel Hempstead's MP Tony McWalter.
