UBUNTU I am because of who we all are.
Supporting the 2012 Olympic Legacy—I WILL be positive and endeavour to maintain the Olympians' love of life and its challenges
MALALA—a statement of the failure of religion:
religion that fails to pro-actively promote the absolute equality of male and female is fundamentally immoral and unfit for decent society.
There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:26-28)
Diversity within unity and change over time is the reality of Creation. Peter Such, poet and writer (1943–)
Neither praise nor shoot the messenger: the message is all.
Human rights are not a privilege they are a basic right of existence.

NOTA BENE

Fortunately Peter Such took the precaution of registering petersuch.com and petersuch.org [business & personal] in early web days. A subsequent change in procedures caused him to lose petersuch .com, which is doubly covered within Angelfire.com. It Is therefore not necessarily discovered on a wider web search as his. Meanwhile .org is not yet activated.

Peter Such lives in Great
Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, England.
Formerly working in printing and publishing Peter Such is currently an occasional writer on diverse issues, as the mood takes him.
He has regularly put his views to the test of public opinion, which is how he twice ended up as mayor of his home town.
He also stood for The Referendum Party in the UK General Election of 1997.

THE EU QUESTION
and MOVING ON

                                          THE WORLD AT LAST RE-ENTERED

PARLIAMENTARY WORK AHEAD

Boundary clarification. How many seats and what preferred size of constituency population?

Proportional representation. Which system?

House of Lords? Should it be elected or appointed and upon what classification? Originally based on the realities of the day: Spiritual; Legal; Defence; land ownership; hereditary entitlement.

Today? Spiritual but across the faiths (define), including pure secularism/humanitarianism (all    appointed/elected by their respective churches); Legal, as is; Political (variable by proven worth, such as past ministers or retired professional senior civil servants and limited party nominations); representatives of Capital, Financial Services, Labour (all either retired or active, appointed or elected by their respective accredited bodies); Education (ditto precedents just stated); Health (ditto); Other?

The whole re-viewable by a statutory committee reporting with recommendations to parliament on a ten yearly basis to cover relevance of classifications in the then current world. Modus operandi as at present.

Friday 7th February 2020, accumulated over the week.
Morning world, one P Such Esq. reporting in. Glorious sunshine morning and the world (here) seems at peace. Inside windows cleaned (well, kitchen and sitting room), then opened; hydroponic hyacinths don't seem to be thriving, all fallen over but scent is strong so repotted in ultra fine multi-purpose compost. I always have a bag to hand to cover contingencies as I like to have plants on my windowsills. Storm forecast but now is the lull. Next move should be Dysoning but papers overflow desk and this side track allows me to post an update on my main web, overdue but something must get moving!

Well, lunch and a short break. Remembered birthday card was due, nearly posted it without a stamp and then put first class stamp, in the old days that would guarantee tomorrow morning, should arrive Monday, the actual day. On way back, although it is a windy corner, I felt I really ought to get a bag and the sheers and deal with the browned off stems in two flower pots outside the front door. Promise definitely coming up. Exhausted. Would have sat back with a cup of tea but wine left over from lunch so won't spoil that.

Frightened little boy anxious to please his daddy. Response to one one of the Trump offspring's comment.

We are talking of our country not the world and management is the subject not over-population; we are not building sufficiently for existing population and we are still degenerating society into poverty.

The Catholic church does encourage over-population and poverty through it's irresponsibility on contraception.

Because we were never asked when the EEC changed to the EU and all political parties argued over the "over" sight that there wasn't a referendum, which there had been for the EEC. That "over" sight was deliberate because they knew then we'd say 'No!" That's why it has taken so long to ask the obvious question. All that has happened is what everyone who knew what they were talking knew would happen. We said "no". We haven't left anything because we never joined, we weren't asked to join!

Perhaps the truth is its a parent's party and the kids just happen to be there! However, again with so many, including children needing basic sustenance, is such conduct acceptable? In looking to "saving the planet" should we not be questioning the way the very rich spend their money?

Reviewing our way of procedures is long overdue, too much time preoccupied with EU demands. Attend to home affairs before charging off abroad.

Currently typical of the British press, third rate journalism.

They have not been deprived of anything, merely brought back to reality from dreamland. A Facabook comment that Brexit has caused people to lose European citizenship.

I understand your sentiment and for long have subscribed to it, so it will be interesting to see the responses you gain. Nothing to do with my "time of life" but we have made mistakes which is why I have supported the abolishment of the death penalty. More particularly we do not solve the problem. We are souls in a biochemical construct. Dust to dust but that which is the essential "I" remains. The problem is that the spiritual existence continues, problems unresolved. We still have to resolve them. Indoctrinators, (I believe not in this case) but parental responsibility to raise an educational experience and the maturing of every individual life, education and attitude; a government's educational facility and society generally, all contribute to the emergence of "the individual". The noose saves nothing, may become an inspiration 'leaving in glory, I've made my mark', life imprisoned is nowhere near so inspiring.

TOTAL ARRANT BALDERDASH! Huddersfield TUC wilfully manipulating news.

Sara Anne O'Keeffe I can only comment, 'read the papers, not A paper'! A friend observed "you read 'The Guardian' I would have expected you to read 'The Times'" My reply, "why read what I am likely to agree with? I read what I am likely to disagree with, to see if my opinion remains valid." On major occasions I buy several papers to ensure wide coverage: on TV I am biased towards the BBC, simply because I detest adverts, they are only selling what isn't selling, so why would I be interested? Countering that failing I specifically look at other channel options and grind my teeth at the ads!

Which raises the question why are they entitled to vote? People with such privileges have a duty to KNOW what is involved, which is why they have the vote, it is both a right AND a responsibility: be involved in society and government.

I was going to close down for the night and the month, wondering in fact whether to continue with my regular interactions and web posts. On an impulse I went back to my server and checked my posts: 255 yesterday and nearly 6,000 during January mostly, I am guessing, American interests following my observations on Brexit. It's over but perhaps I should pay attention to the detail, which now becomes true reality and meaning. Aah well. Switch out for the weekend and then I'll see. Good night!

WHERETO NOW?
Labour has to sort itself out and adapt to the reality of the world at large. Now, get on with Brexit and manage effective and fairly. We must have a fair and reasoned society whatever the political philosophy of the government.
