Full Timers Chapter-F.M.C.A.

HISTORY

The Full Timer's Chapter was formed in 1984 following a seminar on living in a motorhome full time. 30 members agreed to form a chapter and Ed Ruese became the first president.

PURPOSE

This chapter exists to promote social, recreational, and informational exchange activities which provide for the enjoyment and pleasurable use of family members coaches for those members who are living full time in their motorhomes, or are interested in gaining information on that lifestyle.
We are a very unique group, differing from most other chapters in that we:

  • Live in our motorhomes most of the year, if not all of it.
  • Drive various types and makes of motorhomes-Class A's of all lengths, converted coaches, mini's,etc.
  • Come from all walks of life: retired,semi-retired and still working (butchers, bakers, candlestick makers) -You name them, we have them.
  • Many different ages.
  • Lead a very enjoyable life on the road. We are an informal group of fun-loving relaxed people.

RALLIES

FULL TIMERS CHAPTER holds two preconvention rallies per year at which official chapter meetings are conducted. We meet to share our experiences, discuss how we handle personal affairs while traveling and have happy times playing games and visiting interesting places in the rally area.

Add this to several happy hours and there is even time left over for the conventions!
