Full Timers Chapter-F.M.C.A.
HISTORY
The Full Timer's Chapter was formed in 1984 following a seminar on living in a motorhome full time. 30 members agreed to form a chapter and Ed Ruese became the first president.
PURPOSE
This chapter exists to promote social,
recreational, and informational exchange activities which provide for the
enjoyment and pleasurable use of family members coaches for those members
who are living full time in their motorhomes, or are interested
in gaining information on that lifestyle.
RALLIES
FULL TIMERS CHAPTER holds two preconvention
rallies per year at which official chapter meetings are conducted. We meet
to share our experiences, discuss how we handle personal affairs while
traveling and have happy times playing games and visiting interesting
places in the rally area.
Upcoming Rallies
March 10 - 13, 2003
July 7 - 11, 2003
ACTIVITIES
In addition to our two rallies a year, we also gather at the F.M.C.A. convention twice a year to hold a Pot Luck breakfast. We distribute ice cream at the conventions for the RV Alliance Ice Cream Socials and conduct a seminar on Full Timing. Add this to several happy hours and there is even time left over for the conventions!
MEMBERSHIP
To be eligible for and to maintain membership
in the chapter, a person must own at least 1/3 of an FMCA-approved coach, be in good standing
