Information for first time reviewers

You may get an email request from a publisher, restaurant or resort to learn more about Editor's Choice. You should direct them to our web site located at www.revieweditor.com.

Some publisher may email you about our lack of response to phone calls and email messages. Due to the huge volume of emails and calls we don't get to all of them. Reply to the publisher that we are increasing our staff, but at the current time have them please visit www.revieweditor.com.

Send your request to different publishers and manufacturers:

So you will always increase your chances of receiving review copies from software publishers by requesting the titles that are not the number one best sellers. It is not a good idea to send all of your forms to the same publisher. In the even that that title has been reviewed by many of our reviewers you might not get that title. Spread your request out over different publishers.

Keep your consumer product request to products costing less than $300.

There has been no indication from any book publishers of any similar development. So you may continue to request any book title.

Any Corel product. Corel has never honored any review request. Adobe has put a cap on our reviews until them come out with newer versions.

MetaCreations Corporation has informed us that their marketing budget does not allow for sending out review copies. So don't request any titles they publish until we hear from them again.

As of 7/7/99 we our reviewers have received over $2,412,766 in software and $1,762,211 in book titles as reviewers for Editor's Choice. Well ok, we are not in the McDonald's billions category yet, but we are growing very, very fast.

Note: if you request a title from a publisher on this "temporary do not request list" we may not be able to honor your replacement form request.

How do I locate the software or book publisher's address?

Since you can request virtually any software title or book title, it would not be feasible for us to maintain a list of publishers and their addresses and phone numbers. But with the explosion of the World Wide Web on the Internet you can locate almost any software or book publisher.

You should check our bad address list before you address a review request envelope! This is a list of known bad publisher addresses, and we cannot issue replacement forms for any request mailed to this list.

I haven't received my requested title yet.

Have you waited 30 days? We do not start our follow up support until 30 days after you have mailed your request form to the book or software publisher. Add three more weeks if you live outside the United States.

Fast and Free Review Request Form Replacement Procedure:

1. First determine if you are current in your reviews. This means that if you have received any review titles from software or book publishers and it has been longer than two weeks, you should email us the reviews. If not don't request any replacement forms.

2. Mail us copies of the request if has been longer than 30 days since you mailed the review request forms to the publisher.

3. Enclose a 9 x 12 inch envelope with your address in the upper left return address area AND in the center of the envelope.  Put one thirty-two cent stamp on your 9x12" self-addressed stamped envelope for every request form you are requesting. We will mail you the replacement forms and the envelopes. Do not use postage meter tapes.

4. Mail to Editor's Choice, 4015 Holcomb Bridge   Road, Suite 350- pmb 869, Norcross, GA 30092, Attn: "Rush Replacement Request".

Your replacement forms will go out the very same day if you follow the above instructions.

Please remember that you have to write reviews and have them emailed to us before we will send out any replacement forms. The only exception is that if you sent out all of your review request and have not received any titles within 30 days. This did happen several times in the beginning when we were just shipping out three review request at a time. Now the minimum number of request forms we send out is 8 so this rarely happens.

This is where you find the correct pubic relations department or firm address for all of the smaller publishers they own.
