I try to avoid well done posts although I am sorely tempted many a time.I
tend to do this most when someone sums up DL in a one sentence comment that
just makes me scream YES this statement is so undeniably true.

A few ramblings follow.

This comment strikes me in another way as well. I think DL exhibits an
important perspective on what is a common human weakness of looking at life
from one's own perspective. She views life based on her childhood fantasies
based on 1950's American television. Because it is all about her, she
projects that fantasy and her self-loathing that manifests itself in her
radio persona.


 I want to thank the group(  don't remember who froup is in honour of but I
dislike it sorry) for helping me to put myself in other peoples shoes so
many times.

I feel sorry for her but I need to stop listening to her.


THIS RANT INTERRUPTED BY A RECAP OF THE LAST TEN MINUTES OR SO OF THE
SEPTEMBER 10 SHOW

 As I type this SHE is talking about the fact that if *I* am  obsessing
about someone it is because  I am triyng to hide from the truth (3rd hour of
September 10). (And I am obsessing) I cringe when the next caller gushes
about what an hnour it is and then she got bleeped. What was that about I
wonder?

Now shes reading some bogus letter from some Laurette.Something about a
birthmark that dtr has. Mother came up with cutsie name of Godsmark. DL thot
this was special

Next caller some guy. argument with wife over baptism and before i could
catch up show is over.

Recapping from the live show is a daunting task.

Back to regular programming

  I would very much like to start an on line support group to help me stop
listening to DL. IS there is anybody out there who can help me? I tried alt
support Dr Laura but they were fer her.

Maybe I should call 1-800-DRLAURA
