Please note: Believing that photographs in which they can be recognized violate the Biblical commandment, "Thou shalt not make to thy self a graven image," Amish consider posing for photographs to be an unacceptable act of pride.

For this reason, visitors are respectfully requested to refrain from taking photos or video images of the Amish. These are not costumes these people are wearing, this is their way of life.

The reason I put this page together is not to promote these businesses, but to show you some information about the Amish, what some of their quilts look like and to educate some of you. My husband has Amish relatives on both sides of his family, and I would never want to exploit them in any way. I hope you enjoy my page!
