We witness a miracle every time a child enters into life.
But those who make their journey home across time & miles,
growing within the hearts of those who wait to love them,
are carried on the wings of destiny and placed among us
by God's very own hands.

When a man walks in integrity and justice, happy are his children after him. ~ Proverbs Ch:20 Vs:7
Matthew and Meliza married in the Nisqually Basin on a clear July day on the banks of the Puget Sound. Matthew's immediate and extended family were invited; present were his Aunt Terri and Cousin Jack, who had been visiting from New York. Meliza's beautiful little daughter, Nina Brillantes, served in the ceremony holding her Mother's dress and carrying a bouquet of lavender. My son became a Papa that day, and my husband and I have been blessed with our first grandchild.
It is precisely because our present life is
so inseparably linked with desire that we
must make use of desire’s tremendous
energy if we wish to transform our life
into something transcendental.
-Lama Thubten Yeshe
The seeds of some trees are so tightly
compacted within their protective covering
that only the intense heat of a forest fire
can free them, allowing them to sprout.
