1979 - 1994
Johnny Rodriguez was one of my best friends. We had attended camp together for almost 10 years. Known jokingly around camp as the "Terrible Twosome," Johnny and I were always up to some mischief. He introduced me to my best friend, and his camp counselor, Bill Rams. Johnny passed away in 1994 from Deuchennes Muscular Dystrophy at the age of 14. He was loved by all the people at camp. If anyone could make you laugh, it was Johnny. He is survived by his wonderful family, his mother Donna and younger sister, Natalie, who has now started attending camp as a counselor. He is, and will always be missed. The following are a few photos from my album with Johnny.
