Bremerhaven - One of the beautiful coastal cities

Here you may see the Seaside City - described by many of its own citizenry as "ugly" and "boring". With the aid of pictures, this site aims to dispel such false and misleading impressions.

For town visitors, interesting plazas and remarkable tourist sites in and around Bremerhaven. With this I do not mean the exclusive regions of our town, such as Ocean-Park, inhabited by the upper crust, rather the picturesque sites such as the:
container terminal, auto terminal and fishing port. It is Bremerhaven, one of the economic "capitals" of the north.
Many fundamental products begin their retail sojourn here. Who can image what varied paths many of those essential items, such as those with overseas origins, endure before we, the end users, can physically grasp those items in our hands?
Is it not interesting to observe how Japanese cars reach the German coast? How luxury limousines, manufactured in German plants make their way to automobile aficionados abroad? Some inland dwellers have only a vague concept of how, from a fish possessing a head and tail, a fish stick is made. A visit to the Fishing Port easily clarifies this matter.
Bremerhaven is also an affordable destination suitable for class outings where an excellent perspective of modern industrial economics may be acquired.
By the way, you can find my working place there at the car import terminal - that is one reason why I care about this topic very much.
