Modern Warfare 2
Modern warfare 2 was released November 10, 2009 worldwide. It is the 6th installment in the Call of Duty series. It is the continuation of COD4. The game sold 4.7 million copies in the first 24 hours of its release.The game was released in 3 different options standard, hardened and prestige. The prestige version came with night vision goggles and cost $150. Some controversy from the game is that party chat on xbox live is disabled in some game modes in order to promote working together as a team but has caused a bit of a complaint from the gaming community. The new game features include different killstreaks and perks (also pro versions can be unlocked) to choose from in multiplayer as well as many new weapons and attachments. Another new additionc was spec ops which basically takes certain missions from the campaign and allows u to play them with a friend or online. There are 23 different missions in this game mode which can provide a lot of fun. Overall modern warfare 2 provides the gamer with several different game modes all of which provides a lot of fun and a game someone can play for hours.

Multiplayer
The online multiplayer on mw2 is arguably the best part of the game. There are many game modes you can play such as Team deathmatch, search and destroy,demolition and capture the flag. They even have a 3rd person mode which allows you to play certain game types in 3rd person. There is plenty of things unlockables and game types to keep you busy for hours. Most games the online is just a throw in but on this game the online play might be the best part.
