The roads are clean, small and curly with greenary in plenty

Located on the bank of river, Kullu is the district headquaters. It has an airport . Manali is half an hour drive from here.

Availed public transport and could get a picture of a local dressed in local attire.

Rested for the evening in the town. Though remote it boasts of every facility including restaurants that offer foriegn wines.

Captured myself near a yak. I didn't take a ride not because I was afraid of it:)

Reached the place before start of winter. We had to take a little drive to reach the ice.

It was after a few visits that I could stand on a ski and push myself around without falling.
All my friends could make themselves down a slope and this remains an unaccomplished skill for me.

The road goes on for further icy terrain and ofcourse China.
