You haven't LIVED until you've heard Margo and Sarah's AMAZING jazzu bando!! In case you didn't know, jazzu bando is Japanese for jazz band. Pretty neat, huh? You can listen to some recordings from our first practice below. So far, we know one song-Besame Mucho. And we're pro at it, but our recording equipment sucks...so be gentle when you listen to these, please? If you like what you hear, email us at cagal87@san.rr.com.

The Band

We don't exactly have a name yet...so we're just calling ourselves THYLAKOID. Sexy, huh? Anyway, our "band" consists of two people. Sarah and Margo both sing...they will both play mallets and rhythm, eventually. Sarah plays trumpet, and Margo plays flute.

As of now, our rhythm section is an electronic keyboard that makes backgrounds for our pieces. We are looking for possible members to fill in empty spots! A piano player or rhythm player would be great.

In the following piece, Besame Mucho, Margo plays the flute solo at the beginning. We take turns singing. Sarah plays the PRO trumpet part (-_-) in the background...she also does the piano backgrounds.
