The CPS-1000 is probably the best alround supersoaker there is.
It has a similar range to the 1500/2500/3000, but it is much smaller. This obviously means that you are going to use up your water more quickly, but its size is very convenient, it can still be used as a heavy backup, you can outrun other cps and dodging is much easier than with a 3k.
The CPS-1000 has a very stable design (though apparently some people managed to break the pump off) and is entirely reliable.
This is the blaster everything else has to be compared to.
