"It is fundamental that whatever forms a man brings forth will not be altogether convincing unless they are a true expression of his life - his emotions, his thoughts, and his aspirations. His art, at best, is a significant testimony of his integrity of mind and spirit, the product of his real personality. No work of art in any field can be considered a work of art unless it reveals the basic nature of the artist himself.”

And the votes are in ... so it turns out that American Wedding isn't quite as bad as it was made out to be, it had its moments, but overall i'd rate it just as good (or bad depending on your opinion) as the other 2 movies... but umm, a word of advice, stay out of fluffy linen closets...

Wow...i cant believe summers almost over. Hmm...lets see, i worked 40+ hours a week all summer, made a bunch of money, but spent it all on a new computer and now find myself without any money and without a summer.... but i have a computer, was it worth it? who knows, but i can definitely say this was the least relaxing summer i've had in my life. many things i wish i wouldve had time for over the summer, but theres next year, right? kyle, we'll have to see the Cubbies another time i guess. i'm going on vacation next week so this is about it for spending time with friends ... but let me say, partyin it up with my hometown buddies last weekend was wonderful, happy birthday katie B !!

...umm, I don't quite know how to interpret this one...

BIRD WITH TWO RIGHT WINGS

By Lawrence Ferlinghetti

And now our government
a bird with two right wings
flies on from zone to zone
while we go on having our little fun & games
at each election
as if it really mattered who the pilot is
of Air Force One
(They're interchangeable, stupid!)
While this bird with two right wings
flies right on with its corporate flight crew
And this year its the Great Movie Cowboy in the cockpit
And next year its the great Bush pilot
And now its the Chameleon Kid
and he keeps changing the logo on his captains cap
and now its a donkey and now an elephant
and now some kind of donkephant
And now we recognize two of the crew
who took out a contract on America
and one is a certain gringo wretch
who's busy monkeywrenching
crucial parts of the engine
and its life-support systems
and they got a big fat hose
to siphon off the fuel to privatized tanks
And all the while we just sit there
in the passenger seats
without parachutes
listening to all the news that's fit to air
over the one-way PA system
about how the contract on America
is really good for us etcetera
As all the while the plane lumbers on
into its postmodern
manifest destiny

Hmm...so this is where I'm supposed to write stuff for anyone with a computer to read...I think for now I'll just leave a few quotes and such for y'all to think about...

"I can't feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life." - American Beauty

"It is not necessary to change. Survival is not mandatory." -W. Edwards Deming

"Anyone who thinks sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the rain." -Unknown

"Sooner or later in life everyone discovers that prefect happiness is unrealizable, but there are few who pause to consider the antithesis: that prefect unhappiness is equally unatainable." - Primo Levi

... thats all ya get for today :)

Crapfully yours,
