The Lego Amp's guts were robbed from a Creative Labs 2.1 speaker set I picked up at the Goodwill for $2 and it came with the wall-wart as well, I just couldn't pass it up.

The project came about as my children have always had buckets of Legos around and I like building audio stuff a little different than average sometimes.

As you can see, the volume knob is a Lego wheel and is attached to an Alps pot.

In the rear, I installed three sets of binding posts which fit perfectly through the factory Lego holes. Currently I have the input wire and the power wire hooked up directly but hope to add jacks for these in the near future as well.

From the top you can see that the Alps pot is held in place with hot glue, works quite well actually. I have the top and bottom plates coming via eBay so once they are here I will update the pics and info here folks. Until then, kick the kids out of the toy box and HAVE SOME FUN!!!
