I was born in Fort Defiance, Arizona, on June the 22nd, 1989. My parents met the previous year, when my father was admitted to the Fort Defiance hospital, after crashing his motorcycle. There my mother worked as a well respected doctor. After my birth, they named me Natani Alyce Tom. My first name was derived from the Navajo word meaning "peace leader."
I spent my first couple years of life, in Tsalie, than later moved to Albuquerque. In 1995, we moved to Gallup, to be closer to the area my father grew up in.
I went to school at Indian Hills Elementary, then advanced to Rehoboth, where I further pursued my education, up until this year. I now attend Gallup High School, with many of my closest friends. When I graduate I am thinking of going to University of Arizona.
My mother's name is Catherine Marie Radovich. My father is Vincent Tom. We currently have three dogs named Shadow, (a purebreed black laborador) and Charlie, and Scruffy, (both small dogs of a mixture of breeds.)We used to have another dog, Tsillie, who was also a mutt, but he passed away 2 years ago at age 16, (he'd been in the family, longer than me.)
By far, my favorite thing to do is dance. I have taken a number of varied dances classes in my life, and am now taking ballet, hip-hop, jazz, and stomp. I have wanted to be a dancer since I was 2, and am still striving to make a career of it.
