Bands

Abandon All Hope hails from Albuquerque, New Mexico. This four-piece plays rocking metalcore with a melodic bite. The band consists of ex-members from defunct New Mexico hardcore band Someone Else's Problem and share a drummer with Albuquerque's reigning crust kings Fukrot. Since forming in 2001, Abandon All Hope has played relentlessly around Albuquerque and neighboring states, including an appearance at last year's Stockage festival in Ft. Collins, Colorado. They've also recorded a bunch of songs, one of which appears on their split 7" with Frontside, the first release for Mondo Man Records.

Battle Royale started out their life under the name The Monolith, but while names change, the ability to completely destroy your eardrums doesn't. Hailing from Berlin, these five guys came from diverse musical backgrounds to combine their favorite styles of music (old school, crust, metalcore) into one completely heavy and devastating band. Battle Royale plays A LOT of shows all over Europe, so be sure to check them out. A five-song MCD on Mondo Man Records should be out in June of 2004.

Frontside

Frontside has been playing their brand of mosh-heavy metallic hardcore around the Chicago area for over five years. Frontside uses their tools, including two singers, aggressive songwriting, and sharp lyrics to hook listeners after the first song. They've also managed to find time to tour across the country, and record a ton of songs, three of which share a 7" piece of vinyl with Abandon All Hope, on the first release from Mondo Man Records.
