I use this case when making on-site service calls to places where there is a lot of dirt or I have to move around with my laptop. I found it to be indispensable. Read on why.
It serves a double purpose. First, it is a regular shoulder bag for carrying your notebook computer. Second, it ruggedizes your notebook by making it posible to use the notebook while still inside the case - the case is designed so that the laptop can be used by simply unziping and opening up the top without taking the entire laptop out. As far as I know, this is one of a kind feature.
The case is made from tough nylon and it comes in three sizes. The the smallest one perfectly fits my Dell Inpiron 600m. The largest one, which I also have, perfectly fits a laptop the size of the Inspiron 8600.
