No One Else Has to Know By Ingrid Tomey was not as great of a book as I thought it would be. The synopsis made the book sound great, but the ending was really disappointing. Webber did not even get the chance to meet Taffy Putnam, who is one of the most important characteres in the book. I didn't like the language use of this book as well. The author could have varied usuage of words, and there wasn't alot of details that you could use to visualize a certain scene in your head. I didn't like the characters very much either. Grandpa was too stubborn to care about his only grandchild's wishes, and was trying to take Webber's blame not only because he loved him, but so he can be seen as a hero (since he didn't get his chance to during the war). Webber's friend Beefy and Maxie should have had bigger, more important roles in the book as Beefy is Webber's best friend, and Maxie is pretty much his girlfriend. In conclusion, I think the general plot and storyline was a good idea, but was written and expanded on poorly.
