What is a
Watercolor QuickStudy?
A watercolor quick study is a quickly done unique watercolor. These paintings usually have a very simple background or no background at all. When painting these wonderful small format paintings, I usually work from client provided photography. On occasion I will paint several quick studies in a series when preparing for a more detailed painting. Quick Studies make good practice paintings for me, but also a great opportunity for you as a collector and art lover.
