I have studied and taught English as first and second languages in both Zimbabwe and South Africa.

 

During this 30 year period, my experiences have included inter alia:

• Principal of Uelzen Primary School
• Subject Adviser: English First and Second Languages (KwaZulu-Natal Department of Education and Culture [KZNDEC] )
• Chairperson of English First Language Advisers'Committee (KZNDEC)
• Member of English Second Language Provincial Committee
• Examiner of English First Language
• Represented KZNDEC on an exchange programme to Denmark
• Participated in the SETI 2003 Programme of Intensive English at Ohio University
